Luxury House Vavourakis built at the village of Mournies at a short distance of 5km from the beaches of Chrissi Akti and Agioi Apostoloi. The distance from the beach of Kalamaki is 8km. Chania City Center and the Old Venetian Harbour are just 12 min by car away. The most famous Water Park of Chania, “Limnoupolis” is only 10 min by car. There is a quick access to the city center of Chania but also to the national road of Crete where not only you can easily explore western Crete and its sandy beaches such as Falasarna, Balos, Elafonissi but also all of the other cities of Crete such as Rethymno, Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos. The internal and external spaces of the villa are ideal to enjoy comfortable and relaxed holidays in a quiet environment.

At the Luxury House Vavourakis around the house there is a big patio with big trees and many plants and outdoors furniture such as a dining table with chairs where you can sit and enjoy the view while drinking your wine. Inside the villa, there is a private kitchen, dining and living space, a satellite smart TV where you can watch your favourite movies, and a bathroom with a shower. Also, there are 2 bedrooms with double beds with air conditioning in each bedroom. The sofa from the living room can accomodate 1 guest as we can make it as a single bed. The accommodation provides free linen, towels, Wi-Fi free, parking on the public road, a washing machine for dishes and clothes, an iron with ironing board, a hairdryer, a refrigerator, a kitchen, a microwave, an electric kettle, a sandwich maker, a filter coffee machine, a clothes rack.

The small town of Mournies is 4 kilometres south of Chania and it has stood in this location since the Byzantine period. It is surrounded by many monastic dependencies and, for that reason, many beautiful churches and monasteries can be visited in and around the town. Mournies is the seat of the municipality of the same name which includes various other villages scattered in the area (20 of them) and has about 5300 inhabitants.
It gets the name from the many mulberry trees (mournies in Greek) standing in the village and around. During the 17th century Mournies was famous for its many magnificent villas which were owned by local noblemen.
