Socrates Holidays Apartment 2 is a new build accommodation with modern furniture in a quiet area 500 meters from the beach which is ideal to spend marvelous and relaxed vacation. At its spacious garden lawn grass there are sunbeds and umbrellas to enjoy the sun. The apartment provides everything required so that you can feel like home whereas the hospitable hosts will try to offer you the Cretan hospitality.

This wonderful apartment situated on the first floor with its amazing swimming pool is suitable not only for adults but also for toddlers since it is integrated with a shallow children’s pool, including sun beds, parasols, balconies all around it, a veranda and outdoor furniture to relax and enjoy your meals in the green environment. It has two bedrooms with double beds, a bathroom with shower, an open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining and living space. Also, it provides free linen and towels, Wi-Fi free Internet, a TV, a private parking lot, air conditioning system, a laundry machine, an iron/ironing board, a hairdryer, a refrigerator, a kitchen cooker, an electric kettle, a sandwich maker, and a filter coffee machine.  Ιf you are a larger group of people, you can also book the Socrates Holidays Apartment 1 that is in the same building. Both of the apartments can host up to 9 guests.  All you have to do in that case, is book the Socrates Holidays Apartment 2 with the number of guests that will stay there and the Socrates Holidays Apartment 1 at the same dates with the number of guests that will stay there. The total amount of guests should not be above 9. If you are more than 9 people in your group, you can also book the Socrates Holidays Apartment 3 that can host up to 5 people and (or) the Socrates Holidays Apartment 4 that can host up to 5 people. Those are in the same building just a few steps away from the building that has the apartments 1 and 2. Depending on the group number and on the availability, you can also book one, two or three of the other apartments at the same dates.

The apartment is located in the area of Kolymbari 500 meters from the sea and only 100 meters away from restaurants, taverns, coffee shops, a gas station, an ATM, various shops for your shopping and more. Also, in a short distance there is the beautiful village of Kolymbari, which is a traditional fishing village with beautiful seaside taverns, a supermarket, a post office, a bank, a golf, and its beautiful harbor. Going forward is the world’s famous Orthodox Academy of Crete, where the World Orthodox Congress was held there a few years ago as well as many other conferences around the world on the past. Shortly before you get there, you will pass from the Holy Monastery of Panagia, where you will be able to stop for a while to tour the museum and their premises. Moreover, at around 2 km away from the lodging is the ancient olive tree in the village of Vouves, which is one of the seven olive trees in the Mediterranean region that reaches over 3,000 years. Although its exact age cannot be verified, the Monumental Olive Tree, as it is called, is considered to be the oldest one of the seven and is therefore designated as a nature preserve due to its unique aesthetic, ecological and of historical interest.Within 100  meters there is a bus stop so that you can easily move around our town and also get to know our beautiful beaches such as Elafonissi, Falassarna, Balos as well as our tourist attractions of our city.

The swimming pool is built according to the Greek National Tourism Organization parents have the full responsibility to supervise their children. Children under 12 years old are forbidden to use the swimming pool without the supervision of an adult. Diving is forbidden.
