Thymes Traditional House took its name from the hill that it is built on, as it was a place full of the herb thyme. You can still smell its scent together with other Cretan herbs. Our house was an old mansion, now renovated with traditional and very tasteful decoration. The flirt of traditional is apparent everywhere and views are magnificent. Loulos village is a traditional village, part of Keramia, a complex of 14 villages on a plateau-basin at the feet of the White Mountains.

It has a living room with a double sofa and traditional furniture, dining area inside and outside, a large veranda with a swing and lots of flowers, a wash basin and a patio with parasol and sun beds. It also has flat screen TV, A/C, Wi-Fi, 2 bedrooms with iron double beds, beautifully decorated, bathroom with shower and laundry machine, kitchen fully equipped and with spectacular view from its window. There is even an old fashion heater. More, there is private entrance to the property with long parking for more than 2 cars. There are plenty of olive trees around.

The location of the house offers a peaceful stay away from the city’s stress, yet very close to its amenities as it is only 15 km from the center of Chania and the nearest beach.
The route to the village is unique because of its exceptional beauty and panoramic view.

Loulos village is a traditional village, part of Keramia, a complex of 14 villages on a plateau-basin at the feet of the White Mountains. There is plenty of hiking to do around. Diktamo gorge at 5km away is the most famous with cafes and restaurants at its entrance. You’ll find more traditional restaurants in Drakona village, namely Dounias and in Malaxa village the Panorama. Therisso gorge and its village where the Cretan revolution started in 1897, with an historical museum on site, is 8 km away.
There is a mini market at 2 km and one more at 5km away in Kondopoula village.Chania old town market and harbor is 15km away.
