General Information
The excursion program is as follows:
Departure from Crete
At the departure ports of Heraklion and Rethymno, guests will find the SEAJETS kiosk, as well as our company staff available to assist and guide them. Upon presentation of their voucher, guests will receive their tickets, which will indicate the number of the bus they will use upon arrival in Santorini.
Arrival in Santorini
The journey duration is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes from the port of Heraklion and 2 hours and 20 minutes from the port of Rethymno, with possible variations depending on weather conditions. Upon disembarkation, SEAJETS representatives wearing distinctive badges and holding signs with the bus numbers will welcome guests and direct them to their buses.
First Stop – Oia
The first stop takes place in the stunning village of Oia, one of the most iconic settlements in Santorini. Guests will have approximately 1.5 hours to enjoy the unique view of the Caldera and explore the village’s characteristic Cycladic architecture.
On days with increased visitor traffic, the itinerary may be adjusted, and the first stop may instead take place in Fira, in order to better serve the excursion participants.
Second Stop – Fira
The excursion continues to Fira, the lively and cosmopolitan capital of Santorini. Free time will be provided for a walk around the town center, shopping for local products, and experiencing the village’s unique atmosphere.
In Fira, guests will also have the option to participate in an optional excursion to the Volcano.
The price includes:
- Transportation from the pick-up point to the port of Rethymno and back
- Transfers and guided tours in Santorini (excluding the Volcano excursion)
- Ferry tickets
The excursion will initially be available in the following languages:
English, French, German, and Polish.
*A minimum participation of 15 people per language is required for each group to operate.

The present-day crescent shape of the island is a consequence of the activity of the volcano in prehistoric times feeding the myth of the lost Atlantis. Santorini is essentially what remains of an enormous volcanic explosion dating back 3,600 years and which created the current geological caldera; a giant central lagoon, more or less rectangular, and measuring about 12 by 7 km, surrounded by 300 m high steep cliffs on three sides. The mild activity of the volcano after this major eruption has built up two small islands within the caldera, Palea and Nea Kameni visited by hundreds of people every day during the tourist season. The impressive caldera dominates the west part of the island while the marvelous dry climate and the almost continuous sunshine create year-around conditions which are perfect for observation, photographs and videos under an extraordinary variety of natural lights and colors.
